Whew – it’s been a long, cold winter for this freelancing mom/grandma. I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I am for Spring!  Yes, that should be a capitalized season, simply because it deserves it!

Here’s the scoop in a single sentence: I came about as close as a person can to runing my business and survive again. In fact, the recovery is really just beginning, but I have great faith it will continue to heal and grow and strengthen!

So, here’s to the blog! The blog seems to hit the dust when things begin to get squirrely; I really need to fix that.

One thing I realized is I stopped reading blogs as well. Stepped off of Twitter as well. The problem is that started to take all the fun out of work. Now what’s the point of doing what you love if you begin to hate it? So yesterday I hung out on Twitter a bit and today I am doing a little blog-hopping. So I thought I would drop by here and share a bit of link love. The links will open in a new window, so you can come back here when you run off to look at these blogs. Really, come back, because I might squeeze the best link in any old place.

Danny Brown is a hero of mine. You should read him- it won’t take long before he becomes a hero of yours, too. He wrote a post the other day that gives perfect evidence why I feel this way. Read here!

Here’s a blog I came across via The Mogul Mom’s blog.  The Toilet Paper Entrepreneur. Sign up for a free chapter here.

Oh, yeah, here’s a great one: My girl crush, Naomi Dunford, you know from IttyBiz? Well, Sonia, over at Coppyblogger interviewed Naomi at the South by Southwest conference. Now, if you don’t know Naomi, she’s got a nasty potty mouth that makes a lot of people laugh out loud when they are sitting alone at their computer

OH and a new free samples site that some folks like just for fun. (Really, freelancers are broke a lot, so free samples are a good thing.) It’s called Free Sample Momma and I know the FSM myself, so I can promise you it’ll be good!

Whew – there’s some good reading right there. Check it out!

See you soon,
Teresa
